What is PCHardwareTest?
PCHardwareTest provides a simple way to test supported computer and laptop hardware directly in a modern web browser. The website is built around one primary experience: PC Hardware Test Online.
Our goal is to make common hardware checks easy to access without requiring a download for tests that browsers can perform safely.
What can you test?
The main testing page includes browser-supported tests for keyboard, mouse, touchpad, touchscreen, gamepad, microphone, speakers, headphones, webcam, display, battery, network connection, system information, and Quick PC Check. CPU, GPU, memory, or storage checks are included only where the browser can provide meaningful information.
How the testing works
Tests use browser APIs and user interactions. Some tests may request permission to access a microphone or camera. Where technically possible, test activity is processed locally in the browser rather than uploading raw audio, video, or keystrokes.
Our approach
